Energy Intelligence Essay Competition Details

Topic : Innovations to secure India’s energy future

Description - It is well known that energy security and national security are tied together. In India the challenge is multi-tiered - from energy sources, power generation capacity, power distribution and revenue capture. In this essay we are looking for the next generation to share their views, opportunities and innovative ideas that the country can implement in the next 30 years for energy security.

The essay can be technology or policy/business focused. It must be based on data and facts. Please list the key sources you used for your data/research.

Prize - Three prizes of ₹10,000 for three best judged essays

Eligibility Requirement and Rules -

1. Higher Secondary (10/11/12th class ) or Undergraduate students who are Indian Nationals
2. Must be enrolled student in a school, college or university. A School/University ID and a Govt. issued ID will be required to claim prize by the winners
3. Need Email, Phone and Educational Institution name and address for claiming prize, when submitting the essay
4. Your submission must be your own work.
5. Maximum of 7500 characters
6. Email will be primary communication method so make sure your email is correct when submitting the entry
